Take advantage of our ‘farm gate store’ - buy your snags, meat and small goods to take home and we’ll look after it in cooled comfort at the gate ready to grab when the festival fun is done.
We’ve heard it said that ‘one cannot live on snags alone’ so whether you’re snag averse, you’re all snagged out or want to supplement your dining – check out our Snag Free Food...
Beer - micro, indie, local and delicious
Have a beer with the brewer!
That's right six of the finest independant brewers from just down the road (or ever-so-slightly further afield) will all be presenting their finest brews for you to taste and enjoy.
So have a beer, have a chat, have a beer, ask a question, have a beer, discuss the weather and then have a beer.
Try your hand (or palate) at a horizontal tasting (or just taste til your horizontal) and try all different beers a particular brewery has on offer
Bubbles - Ciders and Sparkling Wines
Apple Cider, Pear Cider, Sparkling Shiraz, Sparkling Chardonnay and a Sparking Blanc de Noir - who needs beer?
Workshops - at Snag, Beer & Bubble Fest University
Essential life skills: Get to know your beer. Understand your cider. Cook the perfect steak, or the perfect roast. Break down a lamb or create the ideal sausage.
And your assessment: Bendigo Beer invite home brewers to submit a brew to be judged by noted beer experts and 100 lucky festival attendees
If only our Uni days were more like this we might have spent more time in class, less time in the student lounge...but on the other hand, would our pool skills be quite this good? I think not...
Music for your listening pleasure
Starting the day – Heathcote Fave’s Cass, gentle singer songwriter loveliness to get into the snag fest groove....then trekking up the highway from the big smoke Sweet Jean will woo you with their indie folk offering...and then it’s time to turn it up with Bendigo’s Mic’d – the new offering from two former members of Soul Child with a little soul, RnB and touch of classic rock (of the cool non-scary kind)...and then when you just can’t sit still any longer The Charlie’s will get you kicking off your shoes, grooving in the grass and send you home with a funky wiggle in your walk...
Please note
Ticket can be pre-purchased online through the trybookings.com website.
The Snag Beer & Bubble Fest is an all weather event – if it rains we’ll move inside the pavilions – yep – that’s the joy of the showgrounds – acres of shedding. The Luncheon Pavillion, the Arts & Crafts Shed, The Wool Pavilion, The Young Farmers Pavilion (sight of not just one regional romance we’re told...) – all perfect for some undercover Snag Beer & Bubble appreciation...
No BYO food or drink.
